Organizing 2012

Last week I mentioned that I'm storming into 2012 with a major organization project.  I thought I'd made some major changes back in 2011.  And I did.  You can read back through the reposts this past month to see a few of those changes.

I'll wrap up the reposts over the next week with a look at a writer's dream on Friday and a recap with the results of that 2011 challenge on Sunday.

Because I'm me (and an over achiever), I decided to dig deeper into the whole life organization idea.  I decided not only to work on my physical and spiritual growth, but to also add a more formal look at organizing every other area of my life as well. Not only looking at the obvious items around the house, but to also dig deep into organizing my goals, activities, holidays and even routines.

I found the perfect blueprint for this in the book, Organize Now! A Week-by-week Guide to Simplify Your Space and Your Life by Jennifer Ford Berry.  I'm blogging about my love for this book tomorrow at the Petit Fours and Hot Tamales blog.

Starting next week, I'll be posting each week about my 2012 Organizing Journey.  Stop back often to see exactly how far I'll take things and just how far my family will let me take them.  I'd love to hear what your thoughts are on organizing. Any thoughts or tips you'd like to share?

I heart organizing!! I love it, but I have to work up to the task or I get overwhelmed. I actually own that book, it's great. I purged my closet last month, this month is going to be my kitchen cabinets!! Keep me motivated Tami!

I need to get better organized. I swear every year I'm going to do it so maybe this year will be the one.
