Happy New Year and Winners, Winners, Winners :)

Happy New Year!

As you can see from my lack of posting yesterday, I took a small break away from the writing biz and just enjoyed the first day of the new year.

Okay, so I actually spent a bunch of time working on my family Christmas letter.  Yes, you heard me right. My Christmas letter.  I know. I’m way behind. Hubby even asked me why I was bothering with it this year.  My response was that it is the yearly summary of our lives. I put these in my Christmas scrapbook every year and even he likes to look back and get a nice little reminder of what we’d done during the various years of our marriage.  Also, during our surprise trip back home for Christmas this year, many of our relatives asked me why I hadn’t sent it out yet.  So, with that in mind, I sat down and started writing.

Of course, me being me, I couldn’t do just any old letter. Last year was a quick hit and run note to our family because we were in the middle of moving. That one was “written” by Princess Bella and the Evil Queen.  Everyone got a kick out of it.

So this year I decided to do a social media type note and used the Facebook format.  That took a LOT of work, but turned out pretty well if I do say so myself.  I improvised of course, but I hit all the high points and I got in a lot more pictures than I normally add.

Now I just have to hit print (front and back – lots and lots of blue ink…) and get them in the mail. Yay me!!!

Another thing I need to do is wrap up some blog hops that I participated in for December.  Lots and lots of gift cards to send out…  So without delay, here are the winners.

For the Mid Winters Eve Hop:

$10 Amazon Gift Card - #330 Megan M.
E-download of In Her Wildest Dreams - #7 Shelly H.

For the Best of 2012 Hop:

$10 Amazon Gift Card - #352 Karen M.
E-download of their choice between Break into Fiction by Mary Buckham and Dianna Love or Chicken Soup for the Soul Christmas Magic  - #370 Marlene B.

For the month long release celebration for my new anthology, Seasons and Seashells:

$10 Amazon Card from Tami Brothers – #95 Bj G
$10 Amazon Card from Marilyn Baron – #218 Pauna O.
$10 Amazon Card from Carol Burnside/Annie Rayburn – #264 Renee G.
$10 Amazon Card from Linsey Lanier – #70 PC
$10 Amazon Card from Pam Asberry – #230 Tiffany S.

Congrats everyone!!! All winners have been notified and have 10 days to claim their prizes or another name will be drawn.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by my blog this past year.  It goes without saying that I wouldn’t be here without you.  And you make this crazy dream of mine so worth it.

I wish you the VERY BEST for 2013.

Cheers!

Hi Pauna! I sent an e-mail on the 2nd at 4:49 pm central time to the e-mail address you left on the Rafflecopter and copied the author giving away the gift card. I checked my facebook page just now and have not received a message from you and I'm not seeing a note on my home page. I also tried to find you as a Facebook friend under Pauna and Nastya and am not finding you there either.

I'm not sure why we are not connecting. I am going to send another e-mail to the yahoo address I have. I don't know if we are going to your SPAM box or not. If you don't receive anything, please contact me directly at tamibrothers at yahoo dot com. Sorry about any problems this is causing.

Thanks!

Tami
