Happy New Year and Winners, Winners, Winners :)

Happy New Year! 

As you can see from my lack of posting yesterday, I took a small break away from the writing biz and just enjoyed the first day of the new year. 

Okay, so I actually spent a bunch of time working on my family Christmas letter.  Yes, you heard me right. My Christmas letter.  I know. I’m way behind. Hubby even asked me why I was bothering with it this year.  My response was that it is the yearly summary of our lives. I put these in my Christmas scrapbook every year and even he likes to look back and get a nice little reminder of what we’d done during the various years of our marriage.  Also, during our surprise trip back home for Christmas this year, many of our relatives asked me why I hadn’t sent it out yet.  So, with that in mind, I sat down and started writing.

Of course, me being me, I couldn’t do just any old letter. Last year was a quick hit and run note to our family because we were in the middle of moving. That one was “written” by Princess Bella and the Evil Queen.  Everyone got a kick out of it. 

So this year I decided to do a social media type note and used the Facebook format.  That took a LOT of work, but turned out pretty well if I do say so myself.  I improvised of course, but I hit all the high points and I got in a lot more pictures than I normally add. 

Now I just have to hit print (front and back – lots and lots of blue ink…) and get them in the mail. Yay me!!!

Another thing I need to do is wrap up some blog hops that I participated in for December.  Lots and lots of gift cards to send out…  So without delay, here are the winners.
